Public Hearing - New Electric Rates
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Ashland Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 17, 2026, at 5:30pm at 6 Collins Street to set a new fee schedule in the Ashland Electric Department pursuant to RSA 41:9-a.
New Ashland Electric Rates will be effective September 1st, 2026, and will be reflected in the October billing. Schedule of increases are Rates 1 & 2 will increase by 13%, Rate 3 will increase by 6.5%, Rate 4 will increase by 9.8%, and Rate 5 will be discontinued, current customers in Rate 5 will be placed on the new Rate 3 schedule. No increases will be made to demand rates. All rates will continue to be charged a $.01 per kWh Power Purchase Adjustment Charge. Full Schedules are available online and at the Town Offices.
